Main

The VL300A2N1N full tower gaming computer from Thermaltake is 666 mm high, 318 mm wide and 614 mm deep. It weighs about 47.11 lb or 21.37 kg. Heavy for its design, the tower comes in black and silver. With aluminum extrusion, a front cooling system courtesy the 140 x 140 x 25 mm Red LED fan capable of generating 1000 rpm and 16dBA and a rear fan or exhaust with dimensions 120 x 120 x 25 mm with similar capability and an HDD intake of Dual 60 x 60 x 15 mm Silent fan with capacity of 2500rpm and 19dBA, the tower is a cool piece of hardware. You can imagine what kind of cooling the system would enjoy with so much mechanical ventilation and natural ventilation as facilitated by its open design. There are accessible drive bays, eight expansion slots, a 9.6” by 9.6” Micro ATX motherboard along with a 12” by 9.6” one. There is one eSATA drive, one HD audio output and 4 USB 3.0 ports and it is compatible with the standard PS2 processor.

The tower looks innovative and high end. Gaming enthusiasts or avid gamers love state of the art pieces and this is surely one. The asymmetry of the design instills a strange balance that anyone would approve. The architectural statement here is hard to miss. The tower uses Open Compartment Architecture (O.C.A.) which allows each component to be easily removed or reassembled. Adding new parts or getting rid of old components is also made easy with this philosophy.

Those who would buy the limited edition model will get a unique badge imprinted at the bottom. The limited edition tower also features Level 10 aerodynamics which has been subjected to wind tunnel test. That kind of criteria is applicable for racing cars in Formula One. Whether it is the exposed vertical heat sink or the full hot swap feature, the Thermaltake Level 10 Hardcore Gaming Computer is in a league of its own.
