Every time someone buys a car, there is an obvious dilemma that comes to the fore. There are dozens of brands and possibly a few scores of cars within the ambit of a budget and they all compel decisiveness to take a backseat. Add to those complexities a simple fact that every type of car has its inherent benefits and you have a dilemma to deal with.
Have you ever wondered if you should be buying an SUV, a hatchback, a sedan or a van? Most people will have this dilemma. Some people are however more certain of what they need but that is more because there is a definite purpose. Those who want the luxury of space and yet want the convenience and affordability of driving a small car in the cities will have to choose between a large van or SUV and a hatchback or a compact car. Sedans offer a midway but not always do they offer an ideal resolution. So, what is it that you would do the next time you buy a car or when you buy your first car? Would you settle for an economic compact car that is easy to park, easy to drive on city roads or you would opt for an SUV that offers you space, is good for the expressways and long road trips but would consume a lot of fuel and would be a problem on city roads?
Split & Go seems to be the ideal answer to this longstanding dilemma. Split & Go is a hybrid concept that concatenates a van and a compact car. The van is large enough to seat eight people while the compact version is for two people. The compact version does come with cargo space, enough for the city roads and the van is obviously super spacious. The state of the art car comes in with a plethora of technical prowess and impresses with its design, comfort and safety. But it fails to mention price, mileage and certain practicalities that would have to be dealt with.
Without knowing the price and mileage, one cannot comment on its viability. And, considering its split mechanism, how does a person make a switch midway while traveling from the outskirts or expressways while entering the city roads? Surely one wouldn’t be splitting the larger van on the freeway, leave it there and drive the hatchback into the city.
