For a long time now, automobiles have innumerable adjustable features or specs. From the usual variants to several modular features, automobiles can truly be configured or adapted to a driver’s preferences. That luxury has not been available to bikers. Other than the liberty to toggle the seat heights and handle bars, there isn’t much that cyclists or bikers could do. Until now that is.

Bike

The Bees Bike that was showcased at Eurobike 2015 is the first of its kind modular bike which doesn’t make it imperative to choose between hard-tails and full-suspension bikes. Manufactured by Altinsoy, the Bees Bike allows you to transform from full suspension to hard-tail and vice versa. The positioning and sizing can also be adjusted in a jiffy.

There are many striking features of the Bees Bike. The trellis-style frame which is made of a special light alloy will certainly capture your attention. The entire look is rather unique as it doesn’t go by the conventions of bicycle design. The whole frame or body of the bike is filled with mounts and bolts and the integrated system allows the biker to adjust the various setting so one can have the ideal riding conditions.

The test runs have shown that not only is changing the configuration a cakewalk but the rides in both conditions are quite bankable and comfortable. You can truly count on the sturdiness of the bike in both hard-tail and full-suspension modes.

There will be a standard pedal bike and a battery powered Bees Bike. Choose whichever suits you more. The price is expected to be around USD 3,950 or 3,500 Euros. This will actually vary at the dealer’s end because the choice of components and the extent of customization will determine the eventual on road price.
